The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust approached us to help with a marketing campaign to recruit new staff to their hospital and community settings. Faced with the challenges of recruitment to a rural environment they needed to find a unique selling point to bring people to the area.
We started by working out a strategy for the campaign and a sub-brand within the NHS Guidelines. Our design and development teams then created the assets for the campaign including the offline marketing materials and a bespoke micro-site. The campaign launched with great success and was shared widely under our guidance on social media.
The Trust has an Outstanding CQC rating which noted a particular strength of having a friendly and welcoming community. We developed that idea further into the #BeKnown Campaign focusing on positive stories from current members of their team.
for nursing posts alone in England according to a March 2019 report for NHS Improvement. West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust gained the highest performance engagement score for the whole of England in 2016, but faces a high degree of challenge due to its geographical location.
